Weather

🌤️ Low 40s, mostly sunny. Brisk with occasional clouds.

Eric, Sharlene, and I drove out to the site of the 2024 Horse Gulch Fire just north of Canyon Ferry Lake in Montana. We collected stems from four different sites along the roadway, trying to pick adjacent areas of burned and unburned.

Historical monitoring sites exist in this area for Dalmatian toadflax biocontrol using Mecinus janthiniformis.
